Pro Tool Reviews reports that Home Depot plans to offer a holiday sweater bundle for $29.99, including several tools, Command outdoor light strips and a $50 gift card. The report lists October 1 at 11 a.m. Eastern as the first sale time and October 15 as another opportunity; stock, terms and the exact sales channel are not specified in the material provided.
Pro Tool Reviews says Home Depot plans to sell a holiday sweater bundle for $29.99, including a $50 gift card, several tools and Command outdoor light strips. The report lists an initial release for October 1 at 11 a.m. Eastern and a second chance on October 15, but the supplied information does not confirm current stock or provide detailed sale terms.
The bundle described in the report includes a Home Depot Holiday Sweater in sizes XS through XXL, plus a screwdriver, tape measure, pliers, rechargeable headlamp and mechanical pencil. It also lists Command Outdoor Light Strips and a $50 gift card described as peppermint-scented. The report does not identify the tool brands or provide specifications for the items.
At the reported $29.99 price, the gift card’s stated face value is $50, before accounting for the sweater and other products. Pro Tool Reviews characterizes the package as worth $150, but the supplied report does not show an item-by-item valuation or explain how that figure was calculated. Readers should treat the $150 figure as the publication’s estimate, not as a confirmed Home Depot comparison price.
The report calls the release a limited run and says shoppers would have another opportunity on October 15 after the October 1 launch. It does not say how many bundles are available, whether both dates apply to all shoppers, or whether the sale is online, in stores or through a particular platform. Those details affect whether a customer can actually obtain the package at the advertised price.
A Gift Card Changes the Price Calculation
The bundle’s appeal rests on the combination of a $50 gift card and wearable holiday merchandise, rather than on a sweater alone. If the card is issued with the package as described, its face value exceeds the reported $29.99 purchase price. But the card is not equivalent to cash: it can be used only under its terms, and the supplied report does not state restrictions, expiration details or whether any conditions apply.
For shoppers planning to buy tools, seasonal decorations or other Home Depot products anyway, the card could make the offer more relevant. The report suggests uses such as holiday decorations and a Christmas tree, but those are examples from the publication, not confirmed permitted purchases under stated card rules. Buyers should check the retailer’s listing for exclusions and redemption details before relying on the headline value.
The practical value of the rest of the bundle also depends on what is included. The sweater is described as having front pockets for tools, while the listed accessories range from hand tools to a rechargeable headlamp. Without product specifications, shoppers cannot compare durability, size or performance with standalone items. The deal is therefore easiest to assess once the official listing and full terms are available.

Release Dates and Bundle Contents
The source is a Pro Tool Reviews report about a seasonal Home Depot promotion. Its headline presents the offer as a sweater, tools and a $50 gift card for $29.99. The article frames the garment as holiday apparel with practical front pockets, and describes the other items as equipment that could be useful for small household tasks or seasonal decorating.
According to the report, the release was scheduled to begin October 1 at 11 a.m. Eastern, with a further opportunity on October 15. The supplied source text does not state a year alongside those dates, nor does it provide a link to a current product listing, a sale end time or details about pickup and shipping. The timing should not be assumed to indicate that the offer remains available now.
The article also mentions Home Depot’s Collectible 2-gallon Holiday Bucket as becoming available October 1. That item is separate from the described sweater package: the source does not list the bucket as part of the $29.99 bundle. Keeping the products distinct matters for shoppers trying to determine what the package actually contains.

Stock, Terms and Sale Channel
The supplied source material does not include a Home Depot statement or current product page confirming the offer, its price, the dates or the inventory. It also does not establish the year attached to October 1 and October 15. Since the report’s timing may be out of date, current availability cannot be inferred from the dates alone.
Other key details remain unspecified: how many bundles are available, where they can be purchased, whether there are purchase limits, what shipping or pickup options apply, and whether taxes or other fees affect the final cost. The $50 gift card’s restrictions and the basis for the stated $150 package value are also not provided. The report’s expectation that the bundle may sell out quickly is an attributed forecast, not confirmed sales data.
Check the Retailer Listing
Shoppers interested in the bundle should check Home Depot’s official listing for confirmation of the price, sale dates, availability and purchase method. The listing should also clarify gift-card rules, item specifications and whether the package is limited to one per customer. If the promotion has already passed, the source material does not say whether Home Depot plans another release or a restock.
For now, October 15 is the next date named in the Pro Tool Reviews report after its stated October 1 release. That date is a reported second opportunity, not a guarantee that inventory will be available. Home Depot has not been quoted in the supplied material, so any changes to timing, terms or stock remain unconfirmed.
